Robert Remington ~ writer, author, musician

Best-selling author and award-winning songwriter Robert Remington is  a former columnist and editorial writer with the Calgary Herald.  He was also a correspondent for The National Post as well as columnist, arts editor, sports editor and reporter at The Edmonton Journal, and a syndicated columnist for United Features, New York.  His journalism career has taken him to Pakistan, East Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Central America. 

He is the co-author of Runaway Devil, released in the U.S. and Canada in 2009 by McClelland & Stewart.  Seven weeks on the Globe and Mail's national  bestseller list, it is the true story of Canada's youngest multiple killer, a 12-year-old girl convicted of murdering her family with the help of her 23-year-old boyfriend.

As a singer-songwriter, he has been a four-time finalist and a second-place winner in 2010 at the Calgary Folk Music Festival songwriting competition.
